Mykola Tomenko: Ukrainian society should protect the victims of family violence.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine upheld the motions of Mykola Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, concerning establishment of clear-cut mechanisms of foundation and funding of shelters for the victims of family violence during the discussion of the Bill "On Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine (re Enhancement of Ukrainian Legislation on Struggle with Family Violence)" at the Second Reading.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine (re Enhancement of Ukrainian Legislation on Struggle with Family Violence)" (Reg. No.0895) at the Second Reading and in its entirety by 331 votes.
